Scripts for the Big Three: Murder Mystery 2, Jailbreak, and Arsenal

February 15, 20265 min readRblxScript Editorial

Murder Mystery 2, Jailbreak and Arsenal are three of the longest-running social games on Roblox, and all three are PvP. That single fact changes everything about scripts in them. In a grinding game, a script mostly affects your own account. Here, whatever a script does lands on other real players, and they can see it and report it.

What Roblox says about it

The Roblox Community Standards are specific about this kind of script. Under "Cheating and Scams" they say:

Roblox doesn't allow cheating, exploits, or misleading content or schemes, including: Using or sharing exploits to help yourself or others gain an unfair advantage anywhere on the platform.
— Roblox Community Standards

The key words are "unfair advantage". In a PvP game almost any script that acts during a match gives one, which is why these three games treat scripts so harshly.

Murder Mystery 2: trade-focused scripts

Murder Mystery 2, made by Nikilis, is a round-based game: one murderer, one sheriff, everyone else innocent. Around it sits a busy trading economy for knives and guns, and that economy shapes its script scene. Much of it is trade-focused: scanners that watch trade listings for under-priced items, value calculators, and alerts for rare weapons.

Scripts that act during rounds exist too. They affect other players directly and get accounts reported and banned far more often. If you look at MM2 scripts at all, read-only trade helpers are the lower-risk side. Anything that plays the round for you is a much bigger gamble.

The trading economy brings its own scam: fake "dupe" scripts and "value checkers" that ask you to log in or paste your cookie. A trade tool never needs your account details. If one asks, it is trying to take your inventory.

Jailbreak: heist-focused automation

Jailbreak, from Badimo (asimo3089 and badcc), is an open-world cops-and-robbers game. The grind revolves around robberies: repeating the same multi-step routes for cash. Scripts cluster around robbery automation and alerts for limited-time events. Jailbreak ships large updates from time to time, and each one tends to break scripts that act in the game for a while. Alert-only scripts usually survive.

There is a second risk here. Police and criminals chase each other in the same server, so an automated robbery route is visible to every player on the other team. Being reported is not a question of if.

Arsenal: mostly cosmetic

Arsenal, from ROLVe, is a fast first-person shooter. Scripts that give an edge in combat ruin matches for everyone else and tend to be short-lived. The lower-risk side of Arsenal scripting is cosmetic: skin previewers, lobby music players or custom crosshairs that only change what you see on your own screen.

Even a cosmetic script still runs through an executor, and the executor itself is what the Roblox anti-cheat looks for. Cosmetic lowers the chance of reports. It does not remove the account risk.

The pattern across the three

These games show a broader rule. PvP games punish scripts harder than PvE grinders do, because other players notice and report. A script that lasts months in a mostly single-player simulator may not last a week in a competitive shooter. If you are used to PvE scripts, adjust your expectations.

You can see the same pattern in what authors publish. As of September 24, 2026, the most recent uploads in the RblxScript library are for grinding and PvE games such as Fisch, Blox Fruits and Steal an Egg. A search returns a single Murder Mystery 2 script and nothing for Jailbreak or Arsenal.

Before you try anything in these games

  1. Use an alternate account with nothing on it you would miss, especially no traded MM2 weapons.
  2. Prefer tools that only read information, like trade scanners or event alerts, over anything that plays for you.
  3. Check the script date against the latest game update. In Jailbreak, a big update usually means a broken script.
  4. Never enter your password, cookie or 2-Step Verification code into anything a script or a "trade tool" opens.

None of these steps makes a script allowed. They only reduce how much you can lose when things go wrong.

If you get reported

Every Roblox experience has a Report Abuse option in its menu, and Roblox says those reports go straight to its moderators, who keep track of repeat offenders. In a PvP game, every player in the server has that button.
