Blox Fruits Update 30: Magnet Tokens and Sea Events Explained
Magnet Tokens drop from Magnetized enemies that spawn for 10 minutes at the start of every hour. You need 500 of them for one roll of the Magnet Gacha, and the event runs until September 30, 2026. Sea Events are a separate system: random ship and boss fights in the Second and Third Sea.
Update 30 went live on September 5, 2026. It brought the Magnet fruit, a full rework of the First Sea and a limited-time token event. This guide covers the two parts people ask about most: the tokens, and the Sea Events that the same players end up farming while they wait for the next hour.
How Magnet Night works
Every hour, on the hour (XX:00), a Magnet Night starts and lasts 10 minutes. During that window some enemies turn Magnetized: they get a blue aura and metal hands. Kill one and it drops Magnet Tokens.
- Only the lowest-level enemies on each island can turn Magnetized, usually one to three per island.
- Each kill drops between 17 and 35 tokens. Most kills land around 20 to 25.
- Some enemies get an "Overcharged" version of the modifier. They are tougher, so bring a fruit or sword you already have mastery on.
- Outside the 10-minute window no Magnetized enemies spawn. Farming at XX:15 gives you nothing.
The math is simple. At about 25 tokens per kill you need roughly 20 kills for one roll. That is two or three good windows for most players, or a single window if you move fast between islands.
What the Magnet Gacha gives you
Tokens are spent at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer, on the Magnet Gacha. One roll costs 500 tokens. The pool skips common fruits entirely, so every roll lands on an uncommon fruit or better. It also includes a profile background, two accessories, a secret reward and a small chance at a skinned fruit.
One more detail matters: tokens have no value once the event leaves the game. If you are sitting on 900 tokens on September 30, roll before 10:00 PM ET. After that they are just a number.
Where to farm Magnet Tokens fastest
Because only low-level enemies turn Magnetized, a high-level player clears them in one or two hits. The limit is not damage. It's travel time between islands.
- Be on an island at XX:00, not on your way to one. The first minute is when every Magnetized enemy is still alive.
- In the Third Sea, the Sea of Treats has five islands packed close together. The TimeSaver guide reports 500 to 600 tokens in a single window there with movement accessories.
- If you own Portal, use it to hop between islands. Anything that shortens travel beats anything that adds damage.
- Skip islands where other players are already farming. Two people splitting three enemies halves your tokens.

Sea Events: what they are and who they are for
Sea Events are random encounters that happen while you sail in the Second and Third Sea. They are one of the main sources of Fragments, Beli and rare materials. In the Third Sea the ocean is split into Danger Levels from 1 to 6, and the higher the level, the nastier the spawns.
| Event | Where / when | Why people farm it |
|---|---|---|
| Terror Shark | Third Sea, Danger Levels 2 to 6 | Terror Eyes, Mutant Teeth, 500+ Fragments |
| Ghost Ship | At night (in-game), Danger 3 and up | Fast ship that fires area cannonballs; good Beli |
| Leviathan | Danger Level 6, crew of 5+ players | Leviathan materials; hardest sea fight |
| Kitsune Island | Appears at the start of a full moon if you are on a boat | Kitsune Shrine and its event |
Terror Sharks have a bad reputation for a reason. They show up in the middle of a Kitsune or Leviathan hunt and can sink the whole trip. If you're hunting something specific, stay at the lowest Danger Level where that thing still spawns.
How the two fit together
Magnet Night eats 10 minutes of every hour. The other 50 are free. A common plan is to sail in the Third Sea between windows, then dock at the Sea of Treats a minute before XX:00. You get sea drops and tokens without wasting the gap.
The rest of Update 30 in one paragraph
The First Sea got new buildings, lighting and walk-in interiors on every island, and Beebom counts 40 island secrets: small puzzles, random quests and awakened boss fights. The Magnet fruit has a passive that grows your arms in three stages, a pull, a cage and free flight. Dragon also returned to the rollable gacha pool.
What the Update 30 videos show
The MatLumber channel published two Update 30 videos this month. The September 13 one runs Fish Hub, a no-key script, and shows its Magnet Token farm, material farm and a Sea Events tab (Shark, Terror Shark, Ghost Ship, Sea Beast). The September 22 one runs Gravity Hub with Delta, including Magnet Event and Magnet Gacha options.
